Graha is built so that your personal details stay on your device. This page explains what the app handles and what it does not.
To cast a chart, Graha asks for a name, a birth date and time, and a birthplace. These are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage and, for the widget, a private container shared with the widget on the same device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Deleting a profile in Settings removes it; deleting the app removes everything.
With your permission, Graha uses your current location to compute sunrise, sunset and the panchang for where you are. The coordinates are used on the device and never sent to a server. If you decline, Graha uses your birthplace instead.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Graha receives only a signed confirmation that a purchase is active. We do not see your payment details, name or Apple ID.
Graha contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software of any kind, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not track you across apps or websites.
The optional morning notification is scheduled locally on your device. No notification server is involved.
A later version may offer readings written by an AI model on our server. If and when that ships, the app will send only computed astrological facts (for example, sign and house placements and the day's tithi), never your name, birth date, birth time or coordinates, and this policy will be updated first.
Graha is rated 4+ but is intended for adults and older teens. We do not knowingly collect information from children; since nothing is collected, none is retained.
Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf: you hold it all. If you have any question about this policy, write to [email protected].
